I was commissioned by Image Makers to provide a detail from my oak print so that it could be used to make a safety strip along the windows. Like the mighty Oak it then grew! It was used to create the pattern on the wall display showing the Land of Oak and Iron area, it features on the visitor interactive displays, and the cafe web site. The original print of the oak round is on display in the cafe alongside my Yew tree print, the oak began life in 1828 which is the year Thomas Bewick died. The yew began life in 1822.
I am very proud my work has been use in this building, it's a fabulous space, and a very nice cafe too! All good!
My Colouring book of tree prints is available to purchase in the Cafe Shrub shop, alongside a range of my cards, original print cards and my Burr Elm and Oak Print Cotton T-towels.
