Book Cover for Bloodaxe Books

January 03, 2018

Neil Astley, the editor of Bloodaxe Books popped into Cherryburn in November 2015 to ask if I could create a book cover for Heidi Williamson's poetry book, called The Print Museum.

He was interested in having the title set in Type. This is what I created and photographed for him.

I was then really happy to learn that  The Print Museum had won the 2016  Book by the Cover Award as part of the East Anglian Book Awards.

The Book by the Cover Award is chosen by the members of the East Anglian Writers (Society of Authors) group.

Bloodaxe Books has a rather wonderful web site, if you are interested in poetry, you will love it and the work they publish.
