The Muker Ash

 The ancient Ash tree is on the edge of Muker village overlooking Swaledale. She  is listed on the Ancient Tree Inventory and has a girth of 4.8m. The limb fell in June 2018 and Richard from The Old School Gallery, Muker was able to cut 2 rounds and gave them to me to print. I have counted 140 rings from the limb, but the tree will be much much older than this.

It's a wonderful tree easily seen from the 'lovers lane' public footpath with a wonderful view over Swaledale.
